Three years on, Beatrix had outgrown her Primrose Hill shop and, in 2007, the decision was taken to move to a new location. London’s Burlington Arcade is the oldest shopping arcade in the capital and remains one of the most exclusive addresses in Central London – it’s here that the Beatrix Ong flagship boutique now has a home.

With such a successful start in women’s footwear, Ong turned her attention to a debut men’s line. Under the name Ong London, the collection was launched in September 2008 in her Burlington Arcade boutique.

The collection was an instant hit – traditional styles, exquisitely handmade, were even put on order by rock stars.

In July 2008, Ong took another big step towards turning the Beatrix Ong name into a global luxury accessories brand. She entered into partnership with British Fashion Council Chairman, Harold Tillman and Chief Executive of Jaeger, Belinda Earl.

As Beatrix had taken the company from strength to strength by herself, she continues to lead the company's business and creative initiatives as Chairman and Designer.
