As her formal fashion education came to an end, Beatrix landed an internship on the fashion desk at Harper’s Bizarre in New York. Beatrix was then awarded a coveted position designing at Jimmy Choo.

By age 22, she was Creative Director at Jimmy Choo Couture. She went on to assist on Lulu Guinness’s acclaimed first footwear collection and by 2002 was ready to step out on her own…

In 2002, Beatrix Ong launched her very first collection under her own name. Her debut was showcased at the Metropolitan Hotel, London, during London Fashion Week.

The designs immediately caused waves throughout the international fashion press and attracted buyers from over 30 prestigious stockists.
 
With the first season a resounding success, development was quick for the Beatrix Ong brand.
